Over the past year the most talked about event in business is the influence of Ai and how it is used in every aspect of our working lives. But is Ai really going to change everything we take for granted or is the often dystopian view just a really well mastered marketing tactic?
What would be the sense of creating a fear of Ai ? The general consenses is that if a company is not using Ai it will not survive in the future.
But what if the cost of Ai is too much for a small or medium sized company?
Of course companies like Open Ai are fuelled on the concept that it's not a benefit to a company to have Ai but rather it's a lifeline or MUSTHAVE to survive.
So most companies have taken the BAIT and trained their staff to use Ai as much as possible. In many cases workers performance ratings and in turn bonuses or wage increases are a reflection on how much they are using Ai in general tasks.
TOKEN MAXXING -- Tokenmaxxing involves employees or teams using as many AI tokens as possible, often tracked on internal leaderboards at companies like Meta, OpenAI, and Shopify, to signal effort or status rather than actual output.
