LISTENING and SPEAKING -

I came across this mini documentary shortly after populism had become a common word in the media. Defined as a political approach that strives to appeal to ordinary people who feel disconnected to the political elite. There seemed to be a lot of contradiction to what is populist, either way at the time there seemed to be a lot of negativities about politics and society as a whole.

I found this documentary UPLIFTING at a time when culture was expressed as something to be preserved like pickles in a jar and tradition something to be defended rather than celebrated.
