3. The sculpture is covered in stripes of fabric gauze and plaster.Apply the plaster and gauze in small portions allowing yourself time to place it properly and so as not to waste the plaster or the gauze. Immeditaly after applying smooth the spplied surface with your hands.Always cut alot of stripes of gauze before you start and place them neatly on a cleared table.
4. Once two layers of plaster and gauze have been applied to the entire structure the form will be strong and smooth enough to work on.The matches are fixed using wood glue making sure that they affixed strongly to the surface.All the layers the plaster, matches and finally the shellac coats make the form solid.
