These two plaster casts were then worked on to blend any discripencies between the wax, balsa wood and plaster that had been put together in the mould and also to sand in fine paper and generally finish the plaster casts professionally.The plaster casts are painted with PVA solution to seal the surface in preparation for the silicone.No release agent is necessary before the application if the silicone.
A final silicone and fiberglass resin mould is taken of each side. The same process is followed as below and from these wooden final moulds two cement casts are taken.
