Sombras

The whole time in Madrid I find myself going around constantly saying " That would look great as a silhouette". Shadows here are very apparent and strong contrasted constantly against the bleached light. Light here is different,it occures in blocks, meaning that the light is less diffused than in Ireland.As a sculptor I feel more inclined to paint here in Spain because there is much more of a sculptural form to all things again because of the blocky light.Sounds mad but it's true.
