Application to Matadero - Madrid- 22/July/2011

This is a photoshop image for a proposal to the matadero - El ranchito produccion de proyectes-
It is a gradual development of the work from La tabacalera. I want to make seven of these origami horses.In a city like Madrid you are constantly aware of volumes of history in every building where tens of thousands of lives have passed through.The sense of a city built from the very stone it rises above and gazes at the Paisaje(lanscape)below.

I wanted to heighten this awareness by using so delicate and ephemeral as these paper origami horses set against the carved sandstone backdrop of Madrid.
