 This lesson is about a story that couldn't have be written more creatively than how how it really happened. John Delorean and his iconic RUST BUCKET or futuristic design has been ETCHED into  American popular culture of the eighties and nineties.

LEAD IN - In the eighties Ireland was for the most part a grey and depressing place with what seemed to be a never ending conflict in the North of the country which was and still is British. For personal reasons I would occassionally travel on the bus or train to Belfast and it's something that I always remember was the Delorean factory just after we crossed the border, suddenly there were British and Irish flags marking territory and the SURREAL Delorean factory planted into a grey suburban nowhere place.
