The beginning of a large installation

This installation relates or originates from a toy horse I once found in the garden of my parents house over time the idea developed and became origami instead of playmobile but the basis of the idea remained the same.The installation is in a way a homage to the spiritual artists of the early twentieth century like Franz Marc and Wassily Kandinsky. The making of the fullsize origami horsecan be viewed in blog archive June 2011.In the central area of La tabacalera I want to creat an entire installation consisting of seven fullsize origami horses and a forest of black trees. This installation will be light from spotlights hanging above although i want to keep it quite dark.I want to have as close to the model as possible and when the major participants of horses and trees are complete I will add other elements. Each horse will have a wooden stand on which it will rest. The purpose of this is that each horse does not have to be reinforced in order to support its own weight making it lighter and easier to transport.
