Carousel

I wanted to call this animation carousel relating to both the horse and the cyclical nature of the animation itself.
Parts of the animation would be tightly drawn while other parts may consist only of a number of lines floating in an open space before joining again at some point and continuing the narrative.
In Drawing I am influenced by the works of William Kentridge, Kiki Smith and Peter Peri among others. Kiki Smiths drawings while still to me appear to be animated, they seem almost to move on the page. While thhe animated works of William Kentridge while animated portray some much of the sense of the charcoal by working on still after still on the same surface area.
In the animation I want to use the hatching to create a secound animation within the animation of the moving figure.
As the composition of the animation becomes less busy so to does the music, it disperses fades out.
It break up into lines floating like particles in a petri dish, matter neither created or destroyed but simply changing from one form to another.
In this story board the lines become leaves blowing across the space gradually leaving traces that drawout an initial still composition of my two brothers and myself in a car on the way to my mothers burial.
The scene pulls back to show the sky and flock of birds flying.
