From what I can gather La tabacalera was a building that was occupied by people a number of years ago and as the crises deepened a project began to grow at the site.
People worked at making the centre a creative hub for all activities in the community and so it evolved and evolving ever still on a practically non-exsistant budget.It comes down to the commitment of the people of the different groups within la tabacalera. I work from the nave trapecio which is the three -D area within the centre. Since I first started to come to the space in march I have seen huge improvements in the general up keep of the centre, the communication and the cohesion of the centre as a whole.
The exhibitions at the centre have improved and the manner in which they are exhibited by Jose the curator of Maustrate.
