I thought this was funny, the first image is a bar on the corner of calle santa anna in La Latina where the show was held. Somebody at some point took a few of the letters off and it now reads San tana as in the band but it suits this rough and ready part of the city.
La latina reminds me a bit of thomas street and all the windy scruffy streets that straggle of it.This area of the city is hopping at the weekend but watch your valuables it´s full of dodgy characters to.So any way after all the drawings and sculptures were hung and placed Julian, Rafa and myself carried the origami horse in parts from La tabacalera in Lavapies to espacio8.There we spend a frantic day (the day of the opening night!)putting the horse together and trying to figure out how to get it to stand using only dowl wood and wire.
