A friend is over at the moment from Ireland ,Gearoid Carvill who is an architect from the firm www.abgc.ie based in Dublin and has been helping make the prototype( Thanks big G ;.So anyhows we followed the exact same principle as making the smaller horse except from the fact that we reinforced the front legs with a secound strip of carboard 15cms wide running up the outer edge of each leg and also doubled it up again at the feet or hoves !! so it has kinda little shoes. There are sixteen different sheets to the horse and we used stencils to initially cut out each part.

The part are the brought together in a composite fashion the head to the neck, the back legs to the tail until there are two halves then these are brought together in the centre.1cm diameter dowl wood is used to hold each section more firmly together but no glue is used intil the final stage. The sheet are joined using brown tape initially. When all the parts have been joined, cardboard brackets are glued to join the parts permanently ,this gives a rigity to the overall structure.
