The street lamps above the trees at night cast a shadow of the tree on the wall and I was able to us this as a guide to begin the drawing. I really just wanted to draw the tree in a realist fine art manner like a polite form of graffite.The walls and streets are so smooth, dry and clean here that I just have this urge to draw on them in charcoal.
