The model

Here is an image of the model based on the smaller paper origami model beside it. I want to keep the sense of the ephemeral nature of paper in the larger sculpture so I don't want it to be too thick or the surface texture to be a distraction. I've seen chairs at tabacalera reinforced with resin and it's quite amazing how strong the structure can be.I think although the full size structure will be large the inner sheets and the application of the resin will uphold the entire structure. We will see.
