I painted the planes a 'Model' grey to reflect the colour that those airfix sets usually come in.It is a humbrol enamel paint that you buy in a model shop.I love these shops,the boxes of soldiers and the paintings on the front. I always loved the German panzer, british commandos and the napoleonic soldiers with the big hats.I'm in model shops quite a bit now getting balsa wood and I also use model trees and other bits and pieces in my work.
